Brent Bullock, LPC, LMHC
My Background
I hold a master’s degree in counseling and have over a decade of experience providing therapy in both secular and Christian settings. My education and training have equipped me to address a wide range of mental health concerns while integrating a faith-based perspective.
My journey began at Liberty University, where I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Biology. While my early studies focused on science, my passion for helping others led me to pursue counseling. In 2013, I earned a Master’s in Arts in Counseling from Northwest University. During my graduate program, I worked with a local church group, offering counseling for men’s issues. This experience deepened my understanding of the unique challenges many individuals face and reinforced my calling to serve others through therapy.
Over the years, I have developed expertise in evidence-based therapeutic practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic theory, and family systems theory. My advanced training includes the Gottman Method for couples counseling and specialized training in sexual addiction treatment, with certification through the CSAT program. These tools allow me to provide tailored and effective care to each client.
My Philosophy
At the core of my approach to therapy is the belief that every person is a unique creation of God, designed with inherent value, purpose, and potential. I see therapy as a collaborative process, one where we can explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a safe and supportive environment. My goal is to help you align your faith and personal values with practical strategies for overcoming life’s challenges.
I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective treatment for individuals and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, sexual addiction, relationship difficulties, and spiritual concerns. Your struggles, past and present, are not barriers but opportunities for growth and transformation.
As we work together, we’ll identify your strengths and uncover patterns that may be holding you back. Whether you are seeking healing from past wounds, navigating current challenges, or striving for personal growth, I aim to help you find clarity, direction, and hope. With God’s grace, healing and renewal are possible.
If you’re searching for a therapist who integrates professional counseling with a Christ-centered approach, I would be honored to work with you. Let’s begin this journey of restoration and renewal together, discovering the abundant life God intends for you.
